Lousisiana teacher charged with 25 sex crimesagainst 2 young students

A Louisiana elementary school teacher has been hit with 25 sex charges — including first-degree rape — involving two young students.

Marisa Noel, 31, was first arrested and charged Monday following a two-month investigation into her disturbing behavior with a fifth-grader she taught at Teche Elementary School in Breaux Bridge, the St. Martin’s Parish Sheriffs said.

But she was then hit with a slew of more serious charges Wednesday after “an additional victim was identified,” the sheriff’s office said.

The now-fired teacher was hit with 17 extra counts — taking the total to 25 — including first-degree rape, which carries a potential life sentence in Louisiana.

Officials did not reveal how old the two students were, but at least one was a fifth grader, so likely just 10 or 11.

The second set of charges included 10 counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and two counts of having child sexual abuse material.

She was also accused of unlawful communications and harassment and using a computer to solicit a minor.

Her initial charges with the first alleged victim were four counts of indecent behavior with juveniles and the same number for using a computer to solicit a minor.
