Gavin Newsom delivers low blow to ‘little guy’ Joe Rogan

Gavin Newsom went after Joe Rogan in a unhinged rant on social media — taking potshots at the podcaster for not hosting the governor on his wildly popular show.

Newsom’s press poffice clapped back on X in response to comments Rogan made on his show back in August 2023 calling the governor a “cardboard cutout of a person” and a “con man.”

“JOE ‘LITTLE GUY’ ROGAN IS TOO CHICKEN TO HAVE ME ON HIS FAILING PODCAST BECAUSE HE KNOW I’D CRUSH HIM, SO HE TAKES CHEAP SHOTS FROM THE PEANUT GALLERY AS HE GETS RELEGATED TO IRRELEVANCY,” read the screed, fashioned in President Trump’s all-caps style.

“ALL TALK, NO ACTION. I’M READY WHEN YOU ARE, ‘LITTLE GUY.’ OR KEEP HIDING!!!!”

In the years-old clip from Rogan’s show, the host slammed the idea of Newsom as president.

“Nobody believes in that guy. The guy’s a f—ing con man,” Rogan said at the time.

“Everything he did in California, from trying to mandate vaccines for kids, which was totally unnecessary, to being caught out in public without a mask and lying about the fact that he was outdoors. All of it.”

He went on to criticize Newsom for being “a stone-cold narrative-driven politician, adding that “nobody thinks he’s a real human.”

“Whether you like Trump or not, whether you think he’s corrupt or not, that’s a human being….with Newsom, you’ve got like this construct, this cardboard cutout of a person. I don’t think people want that,” Rogan said.

Newsom has previously expressed frustration at not being invited on the podcast.

Appearing on the YouTube show “Higher Learning” in October, the governor went on the offensive against Rogan — who had recently bashed him as a “bulls—t artist.”

“Joe, why won’t you have me on the show?” Newsom griped to hosts Van Lathan and Rachel Lindsay in a clip teasing the episode.

“He won’t have me on the show. It’s one way, and he has guests coming on, attacking and bashing, but he won’t have me on the show. Full stop. He should have me on the show.”

The Post contacted Newsom’s office for comment.
