Bigme HiBreak Dual Smartphone Brings Together E Ink Comfort and Everyday Phone Features on Opposite Sides

Bigme unveils the HiBreak Dual smartphone, a true game changer that features a full-size E Ink display on the front and a small but perfectly functional LCD display on the rear. The device is 80.9 x 159.8 x 8.9 millimeters and weighs 213 grams, making it as comfortable to carry in one hand as possible.
The 6.13-inch E Ink front display includes built-in sunlight readability and a 36-level front light. You can adjust the brightness to match the lighting conditions. The front screen has a resolution of 300 pixels per inch in monochrome and 150 in colour. To get the most out of that display, they’ve included Bigme’s SSS fast refresh system, which boosts the frame rate up to 53 frames per second for a seamless, ghost-free experience.

When you flip the phone over, you’ll see a small 1.85-inch circular LCD display with a reasonable resolution of 360 x 360 pixels. The screen is a multitasker that shows notifications, the time, weather updates, music controls, and even serves as a camera viewfinder. Furthermore, you don’t have to turn on the main display every time you want to check on something because you can simply look at the back and leave the front for when you need to focus on something more essential.

The device is powered by MediaTek’s Dimensity 1080 CPU, and you can choose between 8GB or 12GB RAM as well as 128 or 256 GB of storage, all of which run on a massive 4,500 mAh battery that should last an entire day. If you need to charge it, you can do so at 18 watts with a typical USB-C cord. Connectivity wise, the HiBreak Dual offers dual-band Wi-Fi, Bluetooth 5.2, NFC payments, and GPS, as well as 5G on two SIM cards.

Android 14 offers smooth access to the Google Play store and all of the top apps that have been certified and are ready for use. In terms of cameras, there’s a respectable 20-megapixel camera out back for taking photos, making video calls, and doing other tasks. Meanwhile, the 5 megapixel front-facing camera is great for selfies and meeting shots, and fingerprint scanning allows you to activate your phone simply by putting your finger against the reader.

Pre-orders began in mid-April 2026, and the base model was initially priced about $359. After the dust settled and the initial rush died down, the usual retail price was hiked to $379 for the 8GB model and $439 for the 12GB edition without the stylus.
