The sexual assault reportedly occurred around 6:15 p.m. on Sunday between Mayfield Avenue and Santa Ynez Street, according to a campus-wide alert from Stanford’s Department of Public Safety.

The victim told officials the suspect grabbed her and forced her into a secluded area next to a house where the alleged assault happened.
She described her attacker as a dark-skinned man with short hair, brown eyes, and a clean-shaven face.
He was said to be wearing a blue hoodie, dark jeans, and a braided bracelet on his left wrist, with a semi-automatic handgun tucked into his waistband.
The suspect remains at large. Anyone with information is asked to contact Stanford DPS at 650-329-2413.
