Inside Hemanth Raj Gudisa’s approach to enterprise workflow modernization

Artificial intelligence is creating new ways to automate business tasks, but building a useful application involves more than adding AI to existing software. The system must work with reliable data, align with established processes, and give people a clear role in reviewing decisions. These requirements are especially important in recruitment and workforce management.

For Hemanth Gudisa, an enterprise technology architect specializing in ServiceNow and AI-enabled workflow transformation, these challenges connect his experience in enterprise modernization with his interest in building practical AI applications. His work focuses on connecting operational needs with the systems, data, integrations, and governance required to support them.

Building AI around real business workflows

One example of this approach is HireYT, an AI-oriented product initiative designed to explore recruitment, bench sales, and workforce deployment processes. These activities involve several connected tasks.

Recruitment teams manage candidate information, staffing professionals match available talent with customer requirements, and workforce deployment involves identifying suitable assignments. When infromation is spread across different systems, coordinating these tasks becomes difficult.

Gudisa is using HireYT to explore how automation and AI could help connect these activities. His architectural approach considers the workflow before the technology, including the information a task requires, the people responsible for it, and the points at which human review remains necessary.

The challenge isn’t simply to automate a step. A feature must fit the wider process and work with the data available to it. Its design must also account for changing requirements, clear ownership, and the ability to maintain the system over time.

As Gudisa explains in a proposed interview statement, “AI becomes useful in an enterprise when its output connects to reliable data, clear responsibilities, and a process people can review.”

This principle also applies to enterprise modernization. A platform may offer automation capabilities, but their practical value depends on how well they connect with existing systems and the teams that use them. Architecture helps establish these connections while defining how information moves and who can act on it.

Connecting product development with enterprise architecture

Gudisa’s interest in AI product development comes from his experience of translating business requirements into technical solutions. Rather than treating a new feature as an isolated function, his stated approach considers the data, responsibilities, and operational decisions surrounding it.

His broader professional activities include work associated with NowForce AI, alongside his interest in technical writing and education. These activities reflect his continued focus on enterprise solutions and practical applications of technology.

He also emphasizes the importance of understanding the problem behind an assignment. Learning a platform is a starting point, but architecture requires examining how processes connect, who owns the information, and how a system should respond when requirements change or something fails.

For HireYT, the stated direction is to refine recruitment and talent deployment workflows in response to user needs and feedback. Its intended capabilities should be distinguished from demonstrated outcomes, as independent evidence of customer adoption or measurable business results has not been established in the available background information.

Extending technical work through research and knowledge sharing

Gudisa’s interests also extend to technical research and professional knowledge sharing. His listed activities include technical books, educational initiatives, and research manuscripts concerning AI reliability, federated learning, and data pipelines. The manuscripts’ submission status should not be confused with peer-reviewed publication.

Another development is his inclusion as a co-inventor and co-applicant in Indian Patent Application 202641105411, titled Deep Learning-Based Autonomous Water Management and Vegetation Control System. The application was filed on September 1, 2026, and published on September 11, 2026. This is a separate area of technical work from HireYT, and the application should not be described as a granted patent.

He was also invited to judge the Mobius TechO Virtual Buildathon held on June 28, 2026, providing another example of his reported engagement with technology-focused activities.

For Gudisa, sharing technical knowledge is closely linked to learning through practice. As he puts it in another proposed interview statement, “Sharing technical knowledge helps me explain my own thinking more clearly. It also gives others a starting point for building and questioning their solutions.”

His work across enterprise architecture, product development, and technical education reflects a consistent interest in making technology useful in real operating environments. As AI becomes part of more business processes, the challenge will remain not only to build new capabilities, but also to ensure that the systems supporting them are understandable, maintainable, and accountable to the people who depend on them.
