Bro tosses beer keg through Georgetown Cupcake window in DC: video

A bozo was caught on video tossing a beer keg through the window of a Washington, DC, cupcake shop — causing roughly $10,000 in damages while a terrified baker was still inside.

The suspect was spotted casually carrying a keg to the front of the TLC-featured bakery, Georgetown Cupcake, around midnight on Monday, according to surveillance footage posted by the business and the Metropolitan Police Department.

The fool — with a green T-shirt, khaki pants, dark sneakers and a crew cut — picked up the keg, lifted it over his head and awkwardly thrusted it through the glass window of the storefront, the clip showed.

He then calmly turned around and crossed the street, leaving a massive pile of glass shards littering the sidewalk.

Footage from inside the store showed the large metal keg breaking through the massive window and bouncing off a wire rack.

Georgetown Cupcake co-owner Sophie LaMontagne told People that the bakery — which was featured on the reality TV show “DC Cupcake” — has staff working around the clock, including a baker who was inside during the shocking vandalism.

“One of our bakers called us immediately after it happened,” LaMontagne told the outlet. “She was terrified when it happened.”

“This is heavy glass,” she said. “So she was terrified. We were just so thankful that nobody was hurt in this incident.”

“It’s just very unnerving and shocking as a business owner, and our staff is very shaken up.”

The cost of the damages is estimated at around $10,000, according to the business.

The keg tosser remained on the lam as of Monday evening, with cops urging anyone with information to call police at (202) 727-9099 or text the Department’s text tip line at 50411.

“To whoever is responsible: actions like this don’t go unnoticed. There are cameras, there are witnesses, and there will be consequences. You will be held accountable,” Georgetown Cupcake posted on Instagram.

“If anyone has information, speak up. This kind of behavior has no place in our community.”
