Lauren Boebert (R-Colo.) after she campaigned for Trump-foe Rep. Thomas Massie (R-Ky.).<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIs anyone interested in running against Weak Minded Lauren Boebert in Colorado\u2019s Fourth Congressional District? You remember Lauren moved to the District when it became obvious that she couldn\u2019t win in her original Congressional District (The Third!) \u2014 A Carpetbagger, indeed!\u201d Trump posted on Truth Social Saturday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The president openly solicited contenders on social media Saturday to primary Rep. Lauren Boebert. <span class=\"credit\">Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>In January, the pair were celebrating a year of Trump\u2019s second administration.  <span class=\"credit\">X\/RepBoebert<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Boebert, who moved to the more conservative 4th district ahead of her 2024 election, appeared with Massie at two campaign events in Kentucky Friday as he faces a fierce primary challenge from Ed Gallrein, a retired Navy SEAL who has Trump\u2019s endorsement.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Massie is struggling to hold onto his seat after facing repeated accusations of disloyalty from President Trump, who he has accused of being in the \u201cEpstein class.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cDonald Trump told us that even though, you know, he had dinner with these kinds of people in New York City and West Palm Beach, that he would be transparent. But he\u2019s not. He\u2019s still in with the Epstein class. This is the Epstein administration,\u201d Massie told ABC\u2019s This Week in February.<\/p>\n<p>Massie has long been a thorn in the president\u2019s side, and refused to vote for his signature \u201cBig Beautiful Bill\u201d and has long been a critic of his foreign policy in Venezuela and Iran. <\/p>\n<p>Trump blasted Massie as \u201cthe Worst \u2018Republican\u2019 Congressman in the History of our Country,\u201d and said that Boebert\u2019s decision to campaign for him made her deserving of a primary.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnybody who can be that dumb deserves a good Primary fight!\u201d Trump posted. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lauren Boebert was infamously expelled from a Denver production of Beetlejuice for groping and vaping. <span class=\"credit\">Denver Arts &amp; Venues via Storyful<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Boebert, who was once kicked out of the Beetlejuice musical after getting caught groping and vaping in the theater, has been a longtime Trump loyalist, but their relationship has soured in recent days. <\/p>\n<p>She clashed with the president after she backed Massie\u2019s bill to release the Epstein files and criticized President Trump after he vetoed legislation that would have completed a project to send drinking water to Southern Colorado in Dec. 2025.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYes, I saw the President\u2019s post. No, I\u2019m not mad or offended. I knew the risks when I agreed to stand by my friend Thomas Massie,\u201d Boebert posted on X Saturday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lauren Boebert, once a gun-toting Trump ally, sided with Massie in his spat with the president. <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Trump has previously endorsed Boebert, but said he would revoke his endorsement if \u201cright person came along.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt would be my Honor to withdraw that Endorsement, and endorse a good and proper alternative.
