But his long-term future in the Spanish capital is under scrutiny just two years after joining from Manchester City.<\/p>\n<p><strong>Arsenal are weighing up a move for the World Cup winner<\/strong>\u00a0with sporting director\u00a0<strong>Andrea Berta<\/strong>, who previously held the same role at Atletico,\u00a0directly involved in the move that took Alvarez from Manchester to Madrid in 2024.<\/p>\n<p>Barcelona are also interested in signing Alvarez as they search for a long-term replacement for Robert Lewandowski.<\/p>\n<p>But reports in Spain now claim PSG have joined the race for his signature.
