remains unavailable for Arsenal as they prepare for Sunday\u2019s huge Premier League clash with West Ham on Sunday.<\/p>\n<p>Timber\u2019s last appearance for the Gunners\u00a0was in the 2-0 victory over Everton in mid-March.<\/p>\n<p>It was initially thought that the Dutch defender had only sustained a minor injury, but he has now missed Arsenal\u2019s last 11 games in all competitions.<\/p>\n<p>The 24-year-old was seen celebrating on the pitch with his teammates following Arsenal\u2019s Champions League semi-final win over Atletico Madrid on Tuesday.<\/p>\n<p>But Mikel Arteta confirmed that Timber will still not be fit enough to feature this weekend as Arsenal turn their attention back to the league and a trip to relegation-threatened West Ham.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018No [fresh injury concerns], nothing to add,\u2019 the Spaniard said when asked about team news in Friday\u2019s pre-match press conference.<\/p>\n<p>On Timber and the also injured Mikel Merino, he added: \u2018No chance for them this weekend.\u2019<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"594\" height=\"398\" (Picture: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Arteta also raised doubts about whether Timber would be seen again before the end of the season.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I don\u2019t know, there is still a fair bit to do,\u2019 he said. \u2018Everything needs to be so smooth and quick.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Timber\u2019s injury has proved a frustrating and complicating one for Arsenal, with Arteta adding: \u2018That has probably been the most difficult thing to manage, with the player, with myself as well. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018We didn\u2019t expect it to take so long, and he\u2019s not fit to play.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal currently hold a five-point lead over Manchester City at the top of the table, although Pep Guardiola\u2019s side can cut that deficit to just two points with a win
