bank worker hung up on Pope Leo XIV when he tried to change his on-file address to the Vatican because she thought it was a prank, according to the pope\u2019s brother John Prevost.<\/p>\n<p>The pontiff had a less-than-heavenly customer service experience when he called to update his personal info two months into his papacy last summer, Prevost told CNN\u2019s <em>OutFront said, \u2018You know, ma\u2019am, it might be helpful for you to know you\u2019re talking to my brother who\u2019s in Rome right now,\u2019\u201d said Prevost, who was apparently on the phone with the 70-year-old head of the Catholic Church.<\/p>\n<p>\u201c\u2018You\u2019re speaking with the Pope,\u201d Prevost recalled saying.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cShe said, \u2018Oh really?\u2019 And hung up.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Prevost didn\u2019t reveal which bank it was.<\/p>\n<p>The teller had believed she was the target of a Prince-Albert-in-a-can-style \u201cprank call,\u201d and a local cleric later sorted things out for the pope, Prevost said.<\/p>\n<p>Earlier in the call, the pope gave the bank worker his Social Security number and answered a list of security questions to change his address and phone number, Prevost  said. <\/p>\n<p>The worker then told him had to come in person to finalize the changes.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe said, \u2018Okay, what\u2019s the bank account number?\u2019\u201d Prevost said. \u201cHe gave it to her. \u2018What is your Social Security number?\u2019 He gave it to her. \u2018What was your formal address?\u2019 He gave it to her. There were about four or five different questions.
