down a sidewalk chasing a child on a dirt bike then tried to break into a neighbor\u2019s home \u2014 just to fall on her face because she was so drunk, according to the neighbor.<\/p>\n<p>US Army veteran Wendy Clemente, 56, is facing DUI and attempted assault charges over a viral video showing a silver Ford Focus driving down a sidewalk after the kid on a bike in Cheney, Washington.<\/p>\n<p>Clemente was also hit with criminal trespass charges for allegedly trying to break into a nearby home immediately after the now-viral car chase.<\/p>\n<figure Mail of the attempted break-in that he was alerted to by his Ring doorbell camera.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe fell off my porch and faceplanted.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Clemente eventually managed to get into his home and \u201crustle through\u201d his belongings, before she \u201ctossed stuff around\u201d and went through his wife\u2019s jewelry, said Gaines, who was not at home at the time.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Gaines called 911 and returned to his house, where he found an apparently intoxicated Clemente in his front yard.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe was stumbling around,\u201d Gaines said, adding that she was \u201cbouncing off trees\u201d and seemed out of control.<\/p>\n<p>The drunk intruder remarked on the Sheriff\u2019s Office records state.<\/p>\n<p>Clemente said she had no recollection of driving her car at the boy on the bike, but admitted she had \u201cconsumed more alcohol than she probably should have,\u201d court documents state.<\/p>\n<p>She also tried to kick a deputy as she was being put in handcuffs, authorities said.<\/p>\n<p>The boy in the video was unharmed.<\/p>\n<p>Clemente was arraigned on April 29 and released on her own recognizance.
