Did you not f\u2013king see me?\u201d a woman off camera can be heard yelling. It was not clear who she was referencing. <\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Thomas, who appeared to lose a shoe from the impact, returned to view of the camera seconds after being struck to pick up his camera and captured the full range of damage left from the wreck.<\/p>\n<p>The streamer\u2019s cart was knocked down and his belongings were tossed across the roadway.<\/p>\n<p>Police and firefighters appeared on the scene within 20 minutes of the crash to check on Thomas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cGood thing I had a back brace on, that saved me,\u201d Thomas told two officers.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-twitter wp-block-embed-twitter\"\/>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas is struck by the dark blue Mazda during his walk through Indiana on April 28, 2026. <span class=\"credit\">Hmblzayy\/Twitch<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thomas was transported to a hospital, where he underwent tests for injuries to his neck, feet and legs.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAppreciate everybody checking on me. God is the greatest, I\u2019m good, just running some tests right now,\u201d Thomas said in an Instagram video as he lay in a hospital bed, sporting a neck brace.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cFrom the video that happened, they trying to figure out how I\u2019m still alive. Cops said \u2018I\u2019m just so happy I\u2019m looking at you like this and I\u2019m not looking at you dead,&#8217;\u201d Thomas revealed.<\/p>\n<p>The streamer didn\u2019t reveal the extent of his injuries but promised he would hit the road again to get to California.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe going to finish this race, we ain\u2019t going to let the devil win,\u201d Thomas said. \u201cWe going to make sure we finish this marathon. God is the greatest, I\u2019m alive and that\u2019s all that matters.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas\u2019 car was thrown across the roadway, spilling his belongings out. <span class=\"credit\">Hmblzayy\/Twitch<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas speaks with police officers after he was struck by the vehicle. <span class=\"credit\">Hmblzayy\/Twitch<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Thomas, wearing a neck brace, shared an update on his condition from his hospital room on April 28, 2026. <span class=\"credit\">ministerzay\/Instagram<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Thomas was on Day 34 of his 100-day journey walking from Philadelphia to California when he was hospitalized. <\/p>\n<p>He launched the 3,000-mile trek to raise $200,000 that he would use to build his \u201cHMBL University.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The alternative higher-education is a trade-based program being designed by the streamer for high school graduates who can\u2019t afford or don\u2019t want to attend college but \u201cdeserve a real shot at success.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHMBL University\u201d and Thomas\u2019 \u201cHMBL Summer Camp\u201d would provide classes for CNA, plumbing, electrical work, HVAC, carpentry, and medical tech.<\/p>\n<p>He has raised just under $45,000 of the $200,000 goal on a GoFundMe campaign started on March 24.<\/p>\n<p>The funds would also help bring students back to the \u201cmotherland\u201d of Africa, exposing them to new cultures and possibilities beyond their environment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is bigger than me.
