A substitute teacher will take over for Amy in the meantime, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Amy\u2019s daughter, Haley, 27, made national headlines when she was canned from her job at Centennial High School \u2014 which is in the same school district where her mother works \u2014 after allegations emerged that she and another teacher,\u00a0Angela Burlaka, 47, had sexual encounters with the same teenage student. <\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Amy Beck has been placed on leave after a \u201chighly inappropriate\u201d TikTok resurfaced. <span class=\"credit\">@beck.noah\/TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Haley Beck and Burlaka, who resigned, have not yet been criminally charged. However police resubmitted the case to prosecutors earlier this month seeking felony charges for both teachers.<\/p>\n<p>Burlaka allegedly recorded videos of herself naked saying the unidentified student\u2019s name. The video was found by the student\u2019s grandmother, who reported it to police last summer \u2014 and rumors of a relationship with Haley spread soon afterward.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Noah Beck, 24, is slated to star in the upcoming \u201cBaywatch\u201d reboot series. <span class=\"credit\">Melanie Miller \/ BACKGRID<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Haley allegedly began grooming the teen in December 2024 during his sophomore year when she was his psychology teacher and while he was still a minor, according to a police report.<\/p>\n<p>She allegedly did his homework, inflated his grades and gave him special treatment in class. Haley let the student use her car, bought him gifts \u2014 including booze and drugs \u2014 and paid him more than $600, according to the police document.<\/p>\n<p>She jokingly called herself his \u201csugar momma,\u201d admitting in one of the more-than 4,000 text messages exchanged with the student that the relationship \u201cfelt like straight prostitution,\u201d investigators said. She repeatedly offered oral sex to an 18-year-old student in their conversations, officials said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Noah Beck with his mother Amy Beck. <span class=\"credit\">@noahbeck\/TikTok<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The student\u2019s mother admitted to police that she knew her son was \u201chaving sex with a teacher named \u2018Haley Beck,&#8217;\u201d according to the police report.<\/p>\n<p>In a handwritten note to the student found by police in her apartment, Haley allegedly wrote \u201cfor this \u2018relationship\u2019 being extremely wrong, I feel like we have really made the most out of it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>An investigation conducted by the school district concluded that Haley Beck \u201cgroomed a student, which resulted in her having a\u00a0sexual relationship with that student,\u201d and recommended her termination.<\/p>\n<p>Both Haley and Buraka were placed on administrative leave in 2025.
