I asked for blankets, which they did not have. So I was like, okay, we need to get blankets from passengers.I need some shoestrings. So the flight attendant took his shoestring out, cut it for us,\u201d Fritz said.<\/p>\n<p>She said the baby luckily came quickly. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe\u2019s like, I gotta push, I gotta push. And within three really good pushes, the baby was out and doing perfect. Mom was a rock star, like, mom did so good,\u201d Fritz said. <\/p>\n<p>The baby was born safely 30 minutes before landing at Portland International Airport.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI cut the cord and we wrapped her up, and they\u2019re like, the plane is touching down, so Kaarin grab the seat. And I grabbed the seat. We didn\u2019t get anything buckled, and we just landed,\u201d the EMT said. \u201cThen, we gave baby back to mom, and we taxied in, so the whole plane cheered for mom. It was great.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Fellow passengers said the experience was surreal. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was pretty wild just to see it all happen,\u201d a passenger told KPTV.<\/p>\n<p>Atlanta resident Jess Cushenberry was on the flight with her daughter, Taylor, and said there was a prior medical emergency at the back of the plane before the woman went into labor.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI actually didn\u2019t know what was going on at first. And then somehow my seatmate found out that there was a baby being born,\u201d Cushenberry told the outlet.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>A doctor and two nurses who happened to be on board helped deliver the baby safely with assistance from the flight attendants.  <span class=\"credit\">Tina Fritz<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Cushenberry, who was just a few rows away from where the birth took place, said there were no signs of distress during the labor \u2014 and offered up her own blanket when the crew asked for one.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve given birth, and I\u2019ve given birth naturally, so I know it is not a comfortable situation. And she wasn\u2019t yelling or screaming or anything,\u201d she said of the mom.<\/p>\n<p>Cunshenberry also praised the in-flight crew for their efforts in delivering the baby safely in the unconventional setting.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Passenger Jess Cushenberry praised the mother, saying \u201cshe wasn\u2019t yelling or screaming or anything\u201d during the birth. <span class=\"credit\">Tina Fritz<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI mean, they probably went home and probably had a drink,\u201d she said, laughing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBut they really did a great job of doing their jobs and keeping everybody calm and sorted and organized.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Upon landing, the mother and new bub were met by emergency medical services on the ground, who reported both were in \u201cstable condition,\u201d according to the Port of Portland.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe extend our sincere thanks to the crew and medical volunteers on board who stepped in to provide care to a customer onboard prior to landing in Portland,\u201d Delta spokesperson Sabrina Cole said, according to KOIN.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe health and safety of our customers is always our top priority, and we wish the new family all the best.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
