The university confirmed to AFP in a statement that a person named Cole Allen graduated in 2017.<\/p>\n<p>He was part of the Caltech Christian Fellowship and Nerf Club, according to his profile.<\/p>\n<p>In a phone interview with Fox News on Sunday, Trump described the suspect a \u201csick guy.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe had a lot of hatred in his heart for quite a while,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>The president said the gunman, who attempted to rush past security guards and exchanged fire with agents before being subdued, had left a manifesto.<\/p>\n<p>Trump described the manifesto as \u201cstrongly anti-Christian,\u201d without providing details.<\/p>\n<p>The New York Post reported that Allen had sent a note to his family shortly ahead of the attack, which they provided to investigators.<\/p>\n<p>Excerpts of the message, which the Post said was obtained from an unnamed US official, expressed outrage at Trump and his administration, and that the shooter planned to target officials \u201cfrom highest-ranking to lowest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>It included apparent references to civilian deaths in the war against Iran, the president\u2019s immigration crackdown and the scandal surrounding late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m not a schoolkid blown up, or a child starved, or a teenage girl abused by the many criminals in this administration. Turning the other cheek when *someone else* is oppressed is not Christian behavior; it is complicity in the oppressor\u2019s crimes,\u201d the note reportedly said.<\/p>\n<p>It was signed \u201cCole \u2018coldForce\u2019 \u2018Friendly Federal Assassin\u2019 Allen,\u201d the Post said.<\/p>\n<p>A profile named \u201ccoldforce\u201d on the BlueSky platform, which was taken offline Sunday but catalogued by the Internet Archive, showed frequent posts expressing outrage at the Trump administration.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u2013 Suburban residence \u2013<\/p>\n<p>The suspect is due to be arraigned in court on Monday on firearm and assault charges, officials said.<\/p>\n<p>Authorities said he was armed with a shotgun, a handgun and multiple knives.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cMy impression is he was a lone wolf,\u201d Trump said at a press conference late Saturday.<\/p>\n<p>FBI tactical agents were seen entering a gabled two-story residence in Torrance associated with the suspect on Saturday evening, according to an AFP photographer.<\/p>\n<p>The brown house in the southwestern Los Angeles suburb was cordoned off, glowing red and blue under flashing police lights.<\/p>\n<p>A neighbor told CNN that he saw Allen recently at the property.<\/p>\n<p>Last year, Allen uploaded a picture wearing a graduation gown and cap, saying he was \u201cdone\u201d with his computer science master\u2019s degree from California State University Dominguez Hills.<\/p>\n<p>Allen also posted about an indie game he developed called \u201cBohrdom,\u201d described as a \u201cskill-based, non-violent\u201d fighting game \u201cderived from a chemistry model that is itself loosely based on reality.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>On his LinkedIn, he said he was also a part-time teacher at a tutoring company called C2 Education.<\/p>\n<p>The test-prep firm named Allen as \u201cteacher of the month\u201d in an Instagram post dated December 2024.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
