She has got so many different layers and textures going on and different storylines.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think one of the most beautiful aspects, obviously, is the romance that she fell upon, but also the relationship that she has with her mother and her best friend, Camilla, and her great-grandmother,\u201d she elaborated.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, she comes from a long line of Churchill Downs workers from the greenhouse, and she comes from really humble beginnings,\u201d she admitted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s really important for her to keep her family legacy alive and to uncover the truth,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAlso, just to have that support from all of the women in her life, I think, was one of the reasons why she was able to eventually open herself up to love,\u201d she added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-image size-large\"><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" width=\"1200\" height=\"800\" src=\"https:\/\/www.digitaljournal.com\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/kentuckyroses_sg_77__69ecc3c7c1e1a-1200x800.jpg\" alt=\"Andrew Walker and Odette Annable in 'Kentucky Roses'\" class=\"wp-image-3843934\"\/><figcaption class=\"wp-element-caption\">Andrew Walker and Odette Annable in \u2018Kentucky Roses.\u2019 Photo Credit: Hallmark Media.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-working-with-andrew-walker-as-her-leading-man\">Working with Andrew Walker as her leading man<\/h2>\n<p>On working with Andrew Walker as her leading man, Odette expressed, \u201cThis is my first Hallmark movie, and they really just paired me with the best. I got the A-team. Andrew is such a great guy to work with.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAndrew is so lovely and supportive. We \u00a0just had great chemistry right off the bat. We felt like buddies right away, and so it just made the working experience so much easier and felt so safe,\u201d she explained.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-lessons-learned-from-the-screenplay\">Lessons learned from the screenplay<\/h2>\n<p>On the lessons learned from the screenplay, she reflected, \u201cIt\u2019s very clear to me that Sadie\u2019s character was going through this crossroads in her life, and I\u2019ve been there personally in my life many times.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think a lot of people are going to be able to relate to that, and I think it taught me that pushing through and choosing yourself and following your dreams is important,\u201d she noted.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEverything will always come into place if you just have your eye on the prize and if you really just love yourself and believe in yourself. That\u2019s a big thing for everybody to keep reminding themselves,\u201d she elaborated.<\/p>\n<h2 class=\"wp-block-heading\" id=\"h-stage-of-her-life\">Stage of her life<\/h2>\n<p>On the title of the current chapter of her life, Odette revealed, \u201cChaos.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019ve got two small children and I\u2019ve been married to Dave, who is also an actor, for 17 years now.
