If it was the Russians, they wouldn\u2019t be bogged down in Ukraine,\u201d Burchett said.<\/p>\n<p>He further pointed out that if it were human tech, specifically from the US, the government would never risk using its own people to operate the crafts.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIf it was ours, we would never risk our military fighting men and women in half-a-billion-dollar aircraft out with these things that they\u2019re spotting,\u201d he told Vargas.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese things can hover for hours on end, then they can just shoot straight up, they can do angles.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>A video released by the House Oversight Committee shows a UFO detected by the US military. <span class=\"credit\">Reuters<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Burchett also recalled a chilling conversation with a Navy admiral who described a craft detected underwater on sonar that was traveling \u201cover 200 miles an hour\u201d and was \u201calmost as big as a football field.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe don\u2019t have anything of that capability or that size,\u201d Burchett said.<\/p>\n<p>Burchett said he wants the government to reveal to the people what they know.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAt some point, just put it out there and let people decide,\u201d he said, adding that he believes the American people \u201ccould handle it.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI just think our government and their arrogance, it\u2019s power, it\u2019s about control and it\u2019s arrogance. So, you can go out and see if that phenomenon is correct.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>In February, Trump vowed to release government files on extraterrestrial life and unidentified aerial phenomena \u2014 citing \u201ctremendous interest\u201d in the topic following remarks by former President Obama suggesting aliens were real.<\/p>\n<p>Interest in UAPs has grown considerably in recent years, prompting Congress to pass the Unidentified Anomalous Phenomena Disclosure Act and the Department of Defense to establish the All-Domain Anomaly Resolution Office in 2023 to investigate the incidents more thoroughly.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
