height: 750px; background: #ccc; display: grid; place-items: center;\">\r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e2\" data-zoneid=\"5876678\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n  \r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e6\" data-zoneid=\"5876682\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n<\/div><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>ELBOW CAY, Bahamas \u2014 The bartender who served Brian and Lynette Hooker the night before she vanished told The Post that the reported timeline of her disappearance in local waters doesn\u2019t add up.<\/p>\n<p>Ken, 38, a bartender at the Abaco Inn in Elbow Cay in the Bahamas, said the Hookers spent the early evening hours of April 3 lounging poolside and sipping rum and Cokes.<\/p>\n<p>He described Brian as \u201cpretty tall\u201d and tattooed.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ken, a bartender at the Abaco Inn in Elbow Cay, Bahamas, was among the last people to see Brian Hooker before Hooker\u2019s wife, Lynette, disappeared without a trace. <span class=\"credit\">Matt Symons For NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHe seemed like an old war vet or something like that,\u201d Ken told The Post.<\/p>\n<p>The drink-slinger said the couple arrived around 4:30 that afternoon and that Lynette went down to the pool ahead of Brian, who ordered two rum and Cokes and paid by card with scarcely a word.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>About 90 minutes later, Brian came back to order another round, which Ken poured, taking note of how appreciative the man was for the speedy service on a busy night.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe was like, \u2018Oh man, thank you for getting me served kinda quick\u2019 \u2026 because we were crowded,\u201d Ken said.<\/p>\n<p>The worker said it didn\u2019t seem like anything unusual was going on \u2014 \u201cnot what I saw, anyway\u201d \u2014 but noted he never laid eyes on Lynette.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The couple enjoyed a few rum and Cokes poolside on the night of her disappearance, the bartender said. <span class=\"credit\">Facebook\/Brian Hooker<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ken said that he didn\u2019t notice anything unusual about Brian Hooker when he served him. <span class=\"credit\">Abaco Inn \/ Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cWhen I heard about it the next day, I was shocked, definitely. But then again, I didn\u2019t see the lady, I didn\u2019t get to talk to her or anything like that,\u201d the bartender said.<\/p>\n<p>Ken said the couple was at the bar and pool area for around two and a half hours and that his encounter with Brian was fairly unremarkable.<\/p>\n<p>But to the native Bahamian with intimate knowledge of the country\u2019s waterways and geography, something still doesn\u2019t sit quite right with him about what is said to have happened later.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The Hookers\u2019 boat seen in Marsh Harbor on April 16, 2026. <span class=\"credit\">Matt Symons for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lynette and Brian Hooker were sailing on \u201cSoulmate\u201d when she went overboard and vanished. <span class=\"credit\">Matt Symons for NY Post<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s weird \u2026 for him to be going from here to there, then ending up in Marsh Harbour and nobody sees the lady, it\u2019s weird,\u201d Ken said, referring to the peninsula settlement just a few miles across the water from Elbow Cay where Brian anchored the couple\u2019s boat, \u201cSoulmate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat catches my eye is they left here at 7, 7:30 and [her going missing] supposedly happened right after they left here, and he didn\u2019t make it over there until 4 a.m. or something like that, in 25 mph winds,\u201d the bartender said.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s only four miles that way. It shouldn\u2019t have taken eight to 10 hours to get there. Even if he was only floating, it should have been a much quicker time,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Lynnette has not been seen since that night, and Brian was detained Wednesday in connection to her disappearance but released on Monday when investigators failed to file charges against him.<\/p>\n<p>He told police Lynette had fallen off a small dinghy as they returned to the Soulmate and has denied any wrongdoing in her disappearance.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
