Duggan has denied the allegations, contending they were political posturing and that the US was unfairly singling him out.<\/p>\n<p>Federal Court Justice James Stellios ruled in dismissing the appeal that no jurisdiction error was made in 2024 by the then Attorney-General\u00a0Mark Dreyfus\u00a0in ordering Duggan\u2019s extradition.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>This undated handout photo from Saffrine Duggan shows Daniel Duggan, right, and his wife, Saffrine, as they pose for a photo in Australia. <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Duggan\u2019s wife and mother of his six children, Saffrine Duggan, told reporters outside the court in Canberra that his lawyers would consider a further appeal. Lawyers are also asking Dreyfus\u2019s successor as attorney-general, Michelle Rowland, to reverse the extradition order.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe are very disappointed by this ruling and we will consider our options carefully. But make no mistake, we will not give up,\u201d Saffrine Duggan said. \u201cToday does not end our search for justice.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Rowland\u2019s office noted the court ruling and said in a statement Daniel Duggan would \u201cremain in extradition custody in Australia until his surrender to the United States.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A 2016 indictment from the US District Court in Washington, which was unsealed in late 2022, alleges Duggan conspired with others to provide training to Chinese military pilots in 2010 and 2012, and possibly other times, without applying for an appropriate license.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Saffrine Duggan, the wife of Daniel Duggan, reacts as she talks to the media outside the Federal Court of Australia in Canberra on April 16, 2026. <span class=\"credit\">AFP via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Supporters of Daniel Duggan hold placards outside the Federal Court of Australia in Canberra on April 16, 2026. <span class=\"credit\">AFP via Getty Images<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prosecutors allege Duggan received about nine payments totaling around 88,000 Australian dollars ($61,000) from another conspirator as well as travel to the US, South Africa and China for what was sometimes described as \u201cpersonal development training.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Duggan, who is 57 and was born in Boston, has been held in maximum security prisons since he was\u00a0arrested in 2022\u00a0at a supermarket near his family home in New South Wales.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
