height: 750px; background: #ccc; display: grid; place-items: center;\">\r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e2\" data-zoneid=\"5876678\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n  \r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e6\" data-zoneid=\"5876682\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n<\/div><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Lynette Hooker\u2019s daughter is heading to the Bahamas to join US authorities searching for her still-missing mom,  hours after her allegedly abusive stepfather was freed from custody when time ran out to keep questioning him.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re not doing looking,\u201d Karli Aylesworth, 28, told NewsNation of her plans to head to the Bahamas on Wednesday.<\/p>\n<p>The panicked daughter said she was \u201chappy\u201d that authorities have not charged her stepfather, Lynette\u2019s husband of 25 yearsn Brian Hooker, because that leaves her hope her mom could still be out there.<\/p>\n<p>However, she repeated her fear that her mom\u2019s disappearance was not an accident \u2014 and said she has been sharing her concerns about Brian \u2014 and his alleged earlier violence toward her mom \u2014 with the US Coast Guard, which is carrying out its own investigation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Karli Aylesworth said \u2018we\u2019re not done looking\u2019 for her missing mom Lynette Hooker. <span class=\"credit\">NewsNation<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThey handed everything they gathered about Brian and his history with his mom and sent it over to the Bahamian police and they\u2019re going to head down themselves tomorrow to do their own investigation,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>When asked about the type of history, she said: \u201cJust like his criminal history of possible child abuse and choking out my mom.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Karli previously alleged that Brian was abusive towards her 55-year-old mom, and USA Today reported Brian faced a child abuse charge in 2005 \u2013 which he was later acquitted of by a Michigan jury.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Brian Hooker seen with a black bag as he was released from custody.  <span class=\"credit\">Matthew Symons for Fox News Digital<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She said she hasn\u2019t answered any of his calls and messages since the voice note he sent Easter Sunday \u2014 just hours after Lynette supposedly fell overboard.<\/p>\n<p>Karli\u2019s boyfriend, Steve Hansen, said Brian was monotone in the note \u2013 even though his wife was missing at sea.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt was surreal,\u201d he said. \u201cThat\u2019s not typically how he speaks.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Meanwhile, Brian was released, pending further investigation, after authorities failed to charge him by the deadline of 7:20 p.m.\u00a0 It remains to be seen whether he can leave the Bahamas amid the ongoing search. There is the possibility he could be re-arrested.<\/p>\n<p>His lawyer, Terrel Butler, told Fox News Digital she was unsure if Brian still had his passport, and confirmed she was planning to speak to him and the authorities about his next steps.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s just hoping to have closure, to be released so that he can continue to search to find out what has happened to his wife,\u201d she told CNN.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Brian with missing wife Lynette.  <span class=\"credit\">Facebook\/Brian Hooker<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI am happy to see justice, that justice is really working in this country. They had no evidence and they had no choice but to release him.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brian, who was described as \u201ca bit drained and tired\u201d by his lawyer, didn\u2019t answer questions after leaving custody \u2014 where he was seen smirking while ignoring reporters\u2019 questions.<\/p>\n<p>He claims Lynette fell overboard with her dinghy\u2019s key on April 4 while en-route to their yacht named \u201cSoulmate.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Brian paddled to shore before reporting his wife missing and he has always claimed his wife was swept away by strong currents.\u00a0<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
