height: 750px; background: #ccc; display: grid; place-items: center;\">\r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e2\" data-zoneid=\"5876678\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n  \r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e6\" data-zoneid=\"5876682\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n<\/div><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Questions remain over whether the husband of missing American Lynette Hooker can actually leave the Bahamas after he was released from jail.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Brian Hooker, 59, was let go by the Bahamian authorities around 7.20 p.m. Monday after being holed up in custody for five days, probed over the disappearance of his wife of almost 25 years.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Cops confirmed he has been released pending further investigation, but it\u2019s not clear if he can leave the Bahamas, according to his lawyer Terrel Butler.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Missing Lynette Hooker posing with her husband Brian. <span class=\"credit\">Facebook \/ Lynette Hooker<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>She told Fox News Digital that she doesn\u2019t know if he still has his passport, and when asked if Brian is free to leave the country, she said she needs to \u201cdiscuss that further with him and the police.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Butler confirmed that she and Brian are planning to meet Tuesday.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Bahamian authorities had to charge Brian by Monday night or release him, and she claimed she didn\u2019t receive an update from the authorities after the cutoff point.<\/p>\n<p>Blasting cops, Butler branded the ordeal \u201ctotally unacceptable and disrespectful.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Cops released Brian after speaking with prosecutors and determined that no charges were to be filed at this time.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Further investigations were not ruled out and cops continue to appeal for tips.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Brian Hooker leaving Bahamian custody Monday night.  <span class=\"credit\">LiveNOW from FOX \/ Youtube<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Michigan mom Lynette, 55, supposedly fell overboard from the couple\u2019s dinghy April 4 while trying to reach their yacht \u201cSoulmate,\u201d docked in Elbow Cay.<\/p>\n<p>Brian claimed she fell into the water with the dinghy\u2019s key, causing the engine to be shut off, and he paddled to shore, arriving at the Marsh Harbour boat yard the following morning at around 4 a.m.<\/p>\n<p>When he arrived at the boat yard, he reportedly told security guard Edward Smith that his wife went overboard in the \u201crough weather.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Lynette and Brian Hooker in a dinghy. <span class=\"credit\">Facebook\/Lynette Hooker<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Hooker claimed he sent up two flares but two boats didn\u2019t respond to his desperate pleas \u2013 when probed over why it took him so long to report his missing wife.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI asked him, \u2018So, where is the lady?\u2019 He says, \u2018She\u2019s in the water,\u2019\u201d Smith told Fox News Digital, recounting the conversation with Brian.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Smith said Hooker appeared to be \u201cexhausted\u201d and was asking for water \u2013 and didn\u2019t initially consider him suspicious when they met.<\/p>\n<p>The guard called the cops, who arrived at around 5 a.m., and Brian was still speaking with them two hours later when the worker\u2019s shift ended.<\/p>\n<p>While Brian was in custody, cops searched Soulmate for cell phones and laptops as part of their probe.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The devices may be \u201cmaterial evidence and or contains material evidence related to a missing person causing bodily harm,\u201d a police warrant, seen by CBS, said at the time.<\/p>\n<p>Lynette\u2019s body has not been found \u2013 and Brian said he was left \u201cheartbroken\u201d by her disappearance before he was taken into custody.<\/p>\n<p>Her adult daughter, Karli Aylesworth, said she is heading to the Bahamas Wednesday along with her boyfriend, Steve Hansen.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
