He approached her multiple times,\u201d Aime\u2019s niece, Taura Stucki, told The Sun.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Laura Ann Aime was murdered by Ted Bundy after disappearing from a Halloween party in Utah on Oct. 31, 1974. <span class=\"credit\">Utah Department of Public Safety<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Bundy, who admitted to killing 30 women between 1974 and 1978 across multiple states, was known to prey on his victims, who were mostly young female hitchhikers.<\/p>\n<p>Stucki, 30, obtained files from a private investigator looking into her aunt\u2019s death that revealed Bundy had been preying on Aime for more than just a side-of-the-road meet-up, making contact with her at school.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Bundy\u2019s first known interaction with Aime was when he jumped in to protect the minor during a schoolyard incident.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThese kids were throwing leaves down her shirt. He came up to her and put his arm around her and was like, \u2018Leave my girlfriend alone,&#8217;\u201d Stucki said.<\/p>\n<p>Aime reportedly looked Bundy, then about 27-years-old, before telling him off saying, \u201cI\u2019m not your girlfriend,\u201d the outlet added.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ted Bundy during his murder trial in Miami, Florida, on June 27, 1979. <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Stucki had known about Bundy\u2019s predatory targeting of her aunt for years, but found solace when officials in Utah County confirmed he had killed Aime.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cSo, I always knew that, but then to see it like he actually did stalk her is kind of crazy to me because most of his victims, it seems like he just picked them up right then.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The 17-year-old was last seen leaving a Halloween night party in Lehi, going to a convenience store to purchase some items.<\/p>\n<p>Two college students discovered Aime\u2019s corpse in the American Fork Canyon on Thanksgiving, a month later. <\/p>\n<div class=\"single__inline-module inline-module inline-module--newsletter aligncenter inline-module--nypostbusinessunit aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-newsletter\" data-source-unit=\"Inline Newsletter Module Morning Report\">\n<div class=\"inline-module__inner\">\n<div class=\"inline-module__title-wrapper\">\n<div class=\"inline-module__unsubmitted-title-wrapper\">\n<h3 class=\"inline-module__title headline headline--combo-sm-md\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tStart your day with all you need to know\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n<p class=\"inline-module__cta\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\t\tMorning Report delivers the latest news, videos, photos and more.\t\t\t\t\t\t<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><h3 class=\"inline-module__title headline headline--combo-sm-md\">\n\t\t\t\t\t\tThanks for signing up!\t\t\t\t\t<\/h3>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<\/div>\n<p>Officials believe Aime\u2019s body was tossed several feet off the side of the highway, and was found severely beaten with no clothing.<\/p>\n<p>Aime\u2019s father, Stucki\u2019s grandfather, was unable to identify his daughter by her face because the severity of the injuries.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis one time she was thrown off of her horse into a barbed-wire fencing and she had scarring from it. They called her the daughter of Utah County, which was just so crazy to think like, people still cared, 52 years later, she\u2019s still remembered,\u201d Stucki said.<\/p>\n<p>Officials revealed Aime\u2019s case had many similarities to other Bundy murders but many discrepancies and other issues delayed detectives from making an official ruling, even considering other suspects until pinning it on Bundy.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
