secrets.<\/p>\n<p>The Artemis II\u00a0crew says it is returning from man\u2019s farthest galactic journey with cosmically cool \u201cstories\u201d and dazzling information that\u2019s yet to be revealed.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThere\u2019s so much data that you\u2019ve seen already, but all the good stuff is coming back with us,\u201d pilot astronaut Victor Glover said from outerspace this week. Earth\u2019s atmosphere at a precise angle \u2014 while taking a daring plunge through ultra-hot temperatures at a mind-bending speed of nearly 25,000 mph.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>\u201cLet\u2019s not beat around the bush,\u201d said Jeff Radigan, Artemis II\u2019s lead flight director. \u201cWe have to hit that angle correctly. most dangerous part of the Artemis II\u2019s mission as the 330-cubic-foot capsule is scorched by heat half as hot as the sun\u2019s surface.<\/p>\n<p>The four astronauts on board launched from the Kennedy Space Center on April 1 in a test flight to orbit the moon \u2014 marking humankind\u2019s first return to deep space since 1972.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They later set the record for the farthest distance humans have ever traveled into space at roughly 252,756 miles, beating the previous one set by the Apollo 13 in 1970.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--
