I like the way he plays.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He doesn\u2019t moan, he gets on with his job and is a real team player. As well as that, he is so clever tactically and talented technically.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018He had a real setback with that long-term injury when he first joined Arsenal, but he has bounced back from that and adapted to the Premier League so well.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Arsenal paid almost \u00a340m to sign Timber from Ajax in 2023 but the Netherlands international \u2013 who has missed the last few weeks with a groin injury \u2013 has already gone a long way to repaying that fee.<\/p>\n<p>Gullit has also heaped praise on Arsenal summer signing Madueke, insisting he has been a \u2018really good signing\u2019 for Arteta.<\/p>\n<p>Eyebrows were raised when Arsenal spent over \u00a350m to sign Madueke from London rivals Chelsea but Gullit has been impressed by the 23-year-old.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"646\" height=\"431\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/GettyImages-2270266902.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=646\" class=\"article-image wp-image-27914155\" alt=\"Sporting Clube de Portugal v Arsenal FC - UEFA Champions League 2025\/26 Quarter-Final First Leg\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Madueke swapped Chelsea for Arsenal last summer (Picture: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u2018Noni Madueke is a good player, but he is having to play second fiddle to Bukayo Saka when both players are fit,\u2019 Gullit added.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018If both are fit, Madueke is on the bench. When he is on the pitch, however, he is very handy and always a big threat, and I actually think one thing that stands out about him is how hard he works.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018As much as I think he is dangerous on the ball, I think it goes unnoticed how good he is off it, helping the team.
