Beach on Saturday for an annual gathering of the pointy-eared, short-legged pups.<\/p>\n<p>The paws-itively wild scene at SoCal Corgi Beach Day saw hundreds of the high-energy dogs and their devoted owners descend on the sand for the seaside shindig.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Some showed off festive attire, from tiny the planet,\u201d the festival has grown from a small 2012 meetup of 15 dogs into a full-blown canine carnival drawing thousands of pooches twice a year.<\/p>\n<p>This year\u2019s theme, \u201cTiki Beach Pawty\u201d (aka \u201cBig Corg-huna Energy\u201d), added a tropical twist to the tail-wagging festivities.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter \u2014 from Dodgers caps and tiny sombreros to Easter bunny ears and oversized ski goggles.<\/p>\n<p>Some enjoyed yoga sessions with their owners, as well as massages and mellow SoCal
