It\u2019s been about 3 hours and I have some indication that he must have planned not to be found,\u201d Wilkerson warned 911 dispatchers in newly released audio obtained by the Law&amp;Crime Network.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>William \u201cNeil\u201d McCasland vanished without a trace on February 27 from his New Mexico home.  <span class=\"credit\">U.S. Air Force<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Wilkerson told dispatchers that her alien-expert husband suspiciously turned his phone off and left it at\u00a0 home alongside his prescription glasses before he vanished.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe turned it off and left it behind which seems kind of deliberate because he\u2019s always got his phone. He has a smartwatch. I don\u2019t know if that\u2019s with him or not,\u201d she said.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The worried wife told dispatchers that her husband had changed his clothes and left on foot in the middle of the day while she was out at an appointment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI think he\u2019s on foot. All of our cars and bicycles are in the garage,\u201d Wilkerson said.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>McCasland\u2019s wife, Susan Wilkerson (right) told 911 dispatchers that she feared he \u201cplanned not to be found\u201d when he vanished from their home. <span class=\"credit\">Facebook \/ William McCasland<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Local authorities and the FBI have been searching for the 68-year-old since late February but have come up short.<\/p>\n<p>Prior to his retirement, McCasland worked at Wright Patterson Air Force Base in Ohio, overseeing classified space weapon programs.<\/p>\n<p>The base is also rumored to possess fragments of extraterrestrial debris allegedly from a UFO hotspot in Roswell, New Mexico.<\/p>\n<p>Since news of his suspicious disappearance broke, many people have been speculating whether McCasland\u2019s deep knowledge of classified UFO information has had anything to do with the mysterious circumstances.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>McCasland vanished from his home without his cell phone or prescription glasses.  <span class=\"credit\">PR Newswire<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThis is a man with some of the most sensitive secrets of the United States in his head,\u201d journalist Ross Coulthart said on his podcast, \u201cReality Check,\u201d adding that McCasland possesses deep knowledge about what the US government might be hiding regarding extraterrestrials, The Post previously reported. <\/p>\n<p>Coulthart believes the mystery surrounding McCasland\u2019s disappearance suspiciously coincides with the President making overtures about the US government\u2019s UFO knowledge and that the retired general was supportive of giving the public more information about those classified topics.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>McCasland previously worked at the Ohio Air Base that is rumored to possess fragments of extraterrestrial debris allegedly from a UFO hotspot in Roswell, New Mexico. <span class=\"credit\">Bernalillo County Sheriff&#8217;s Office<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cThe timing is screechingly relevant,\u201d Coulthart said. \u201cThe fact that Gen.
