I\u2019ve never seen that, ever.\u201d<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The pumps themselves won\u2019t even display anything higher than $9.99, the technical limit on the station\u2019s system.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Flores insists the station isn\u2019t gouging, he\u2019s keeping a lifeline open for travelers where few others dare to operate.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Station owner Leo Flores said he isn\u2019t gouging driver with his sky-high prices.
