Maybe they think they made a mistake to bring Liam in.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018It would be difficult to sack him before the end of the season. I don\u2019t think it would be a good idea for anybody but for the manager, it would be a disaster. For the fans, it would cause even more frustration against the owners.\u2019<\/p>\n<p>Rosenior will hope for some respite this weekend with Chelsea hosting Port Vale in the FA Cup where anything but a win will cost him his job according to Gallas. <\/p>\n<p>He said: \u2018I think Port Vale are in League One and they are at the bottom of the table. I think they will be relegated to League Two so it would be a disaster if Chelsea slipped up. If they have a bad result against Port Vale, that would be the end of the manager.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018I don\u2019t think it is a good idea to sack him before the end of the season but if he lost against Port Vale, that would be the end for him.<\/p>\n<p>\u2018The fans would be fuming but sometimes you have to be careful. If they come to Stamford Bridge, it is different. Chelsea will win 3-0.\u2019<\/p>\n<figure class=\"img-container shareable-item wp-caption\">\n<div class=\"img-wrap\">\n\t\t<img width=\"594\" height=\"396\" src=\"https:\/\/metro.co.uk\/wp-content\/uploads\/2026\/04\/GettyImages-2267496516.jpg?quality=90&amp;strip=all&amp;w=594\" class=\"article-image wp-image-27804886\" alt=\"Real Madrid CF v Atletico de Madrid - LaLiga EA Sports\" decoding=\"async\" loading=\"lazy\"\/>\t<\/div><figcaption>Diego Simeone would be William Gallas\u2019s pick as next Chelsea manager (Picture: Getty)<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Should Chelsea\u2019s Clearlake owners embark on yet another new manager search, the temptation to appoint Fabregas, who has overseen a transformation in the fortunes of Italian minnows Como, would be hard to resist.<\/p>\n<p>Gallas, who played alongside the former Spain international at Arsenal for four years, believes Chelsea would be much better off going for a more experienced manager. <\/p>\n<p>He said: \u2018What kind of manager did Chelsea need? I think it all depends on what you are looking for. For the long-term, you can bring in Cesc Fabregas because he is doing well with his club at the moment. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018He is young and able to speak to a young squad. He\u2019s doing a good job. In the long term, he can bring Chelsea back to the positions where everybody wants to see Chelsea.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>If you are thinking about the short-term, to have success straight away, they need that experienced head to guide them like Diego Simone and with his personality he can win things very soon with Chelsea. <\/p>\n<p>\u2018Maybe the Chelsea players need him too because we need to see more warriors and soldiers in the team after what they\u2019ve shown us.
