height: 750px; background: #ccc; display: grid; place-items: center;\">\r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e2\" data-zoneid=\"5876678\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n  \r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e6\" data-zoneid=\"5876682\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n<\/div><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>The partner of an American Airlines flight attendant missing in Colombia has been left \u201cshattered\u201d over his disappearance \u2013 but is still clinging onto hope that he is still alive.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI want to believe that he\u2019s alive, and I want to continue believing that he\u2019s alive, but throughout each day you wake up not knowing anything and it makes the days go by longer and slower,\u201d Ernesto Carranza told CBS News Thursday.<\/p>\n<p>Eric Fernando Gutierrez Molina, based out of Dallas-Fort Worth, failed to show up for the Medell\u00edn-Miami flight he was supposed to work Sunday morning \u2014 hours after going out in the city with his co-workers, and officials fear he may have been drugged.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Flight attendant Eric Fernando Gutierrez Molina is missing in Colombia.  <span class=\"credit\">Sharom Gil<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Carranza\u2019s concerns intensified when he couldn\u2019t get hold of his 32-year-old lover that morning \u2013 despite him having a work and a personal cell phone \u2013 and noticed unusual cell phone pings that came from two locations.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cBoth locations were nowhere near where he was supposed to sleep for the night,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>A cell phone ping came from an Airbnb in Medell\u00edn\u2019s El Poblado neighborhood \u2013 around 12 miles from the city\u2019s airport.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Carranza spoke to his partner before he went out with his colleagues and told him, \u201chave a good night, be safe, I love you.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAnd he just messaged back, \u2018ok I love you back I\u2019m going to go out and hang with my crews,\u2019\u201d he told NBC5.<\/p>\n<p>He and his colleague met two men at a club and decided to \u201ctake the party to another place,\u201d his pal Sharom Gil told the Colombian outlet Telemedellin.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Ernesto Carranza (left) said he\u2019s clinging onto hope the flight attendant is still alive. <span class=\"credit\">CBS News<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m missing a part of me.
