I\u2019m a passenger,\u201d Carroll replied.<\/p>\n<p>McNally, who is the longest-serving judge of Michigan\u2019s 33rd District Court, said he would not hear cases from \u201cpeople driving or sitting in cars,\u201d prompting her to pull over.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Kimberly Carroll appeared seated in a car with a seatbelt across her chest. <span class=\"credit\">Fox2 Detroit<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m sorry. I\u2019m going out of town for a family member, but I will have my driver pull over,\u201d she said. \u201cI didn\u2019t know I wasn\u2019t allowed to be in a car.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>But McNally wasn\u2019t convinced and began pressing her on whether she was actually the driver.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cAm I crazy, or does it not look like you\u2019re driving that car?\u201d he asked.<\/p>\n<p>Carroll insisted she was not, but the judge kept probing.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWhat side of the car are you on?\u201d McNally asked, as she stumbled over her answer and said she was on the wrong side.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>McNally, who is the longest-serving judge of Michigan\u2019s 33rd District Court, said he would not hear cases from \u201cpeople driving or sitting in cars,\u201d prompting her to pull over. <span class=\"credit\">Fox2 Detroit<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cHow would you be on the left-hand side if you\u2019re a passenger in the front seat? Am I missing something?\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cLeft hand \u2026 right-hand side, I\u2019m sorry,\u201d Carroll replied.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYeah, the seatbelt\u2019s coming out of the driver\u2019s side. Now you\u2019re lying to me, right?\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>When she denied it, the judge ordered her to show the driver.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHang on one second!\u201d Carroll said, claiming she needed permission to film the driver, before abruptly getting out of the car.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cNo, you weren\u2019t on the passenger side. Do you think I\u2019m that stupid?\u201d McNally snapped.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Carroll insisted she was not driving the car during the court appearance. <span class=\"credit\">Fox2 Detroit<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>He ended the hearing by re-entering the default judgment.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou lied to me,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>McNally then instructed his clerk to note that Carroll \u201cwas not available at the time and then was driving a car and telling the court she was not.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>As the hearing wrapped, Carroll had one last comment after climbing back into the \u201cpassenger side.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI signed in at 1:30, sir,\u201d she said, prompting the judge to call her out again. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cYou\u2019ve got an attitude, I\u2019ll tell you that,\u201d McNally replied, before wishing her luck and ending the hearing. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
