News anchor, planned to meet the furry friends at a private Chicago airport on Tuesday afternoon. Her team told the California Post that the flight was an \u201cincredible mission\u201d that was \u201cclose\u201d to her heart.<\/p>\n<p>She also warned that animals faced being euthenized if accommodations could not be made.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"wp-block-embed is-type-rich is-provider-instagram wp-block-embed-instagram\"\/>\n<p>\u201cThe shelters began issuing alerts for dogs at risk of euthanasia, with a strict 72-hour deadline because of limited space,\u201d she wrote in an Instagram post.<\/p>\n<p>The animals seized in the rescue operation need to be held as evidence in LA\u2019s shelter system as the legal process involving the animals\u2019 accused hoarder plays out.
