Castro, assistant superintendent of teaching and learning, had a total pay of $243,410.60.<\/p>\n<p>Stacy A. Desideri, the executive director of wellness and engagement earned a total compensation of $198,000.<\/p>\n<p>The 2025-2026 Santa Rosa City schools management salary schedule also reveals above average payment for various positions including $170,000 for a high school principal, the California average is $135,000.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Roderick Castro <span class=\"credit\">LinkedIn<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Stacy Desideri earned a salary of close to $200,000 <span class=\"credit\">Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The 16-year-old was stabbed at Montgomery High School. <span class=\"credit\">GoFundMe<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Other factors have also turned students away from their classrooms.
