height: 750px; background: #ccc; display: grid; place-items: center;\">\r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e2\" data-zoneid=\"5876678\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n  <\/div>\r\n  \r\n  <script async type=\"application\/javascript\" src=\"https:\/\/a.magsrv.com\/ad-provider.js\"><\/script> \r\n <ins class=\"eas6a97888e6\" data-zoneid=\"5876682\"><\/ins> \r\n <script>(AdProvider = window.AdProvider || []).push({\"serve\": {}});<\/script>\r\n<\/div><br \/>\n<\/p>\n<div>\n<p>Airports all across the country are on the brink of closure as TSA agents continue to ride a jet stream of resignations and callouts, warned TSA\u2019s acting deputy administrator Adam Stahl.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIt\u2019s not hyperbole to suggest that we may have to quite literally shut down airports, particularly smaller ones, if call-out rates go up,\u201d Stahl told CNN.<\/p>\n<p>About 50,000 TSA workers have been working without pay since the Department of Homeland Security shutdown on Feb. 14.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>A massive wave of TSA agents calling out or quitting due to the DHS shutdown, which means no pay, could paralyze air travel. <span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>More than 350 agents nationwide have flat-out quit the force, the DHS reported.<\/p>\n<p>Thousands of others are calling out sick every day.<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>And airports have crash-landed into sheer chaos.<\/p>\n<p>Security lines have stretched to two hours nationwide, with some, like Houston\u2019s George Bush Intercontinental Airport, exceding a 180-minute wait.<\/p>\n<p>New York\u2019s LaGuardia Airport is seeing long, winding lines form as early as 4:50 a.m., with anxious travelers\u00a0spilling into the parking lot\u00a0as they wait.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Passengers are waiting on lines that take hours to reach security checkpoints in airports around the country. <span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>And there\u2019s no relief in sight.<\/p>\n<p>A bill to fund the DHS failed to pass in the Senate on Friday, meaning Stahl\u2019s prediction could soon become fact.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe reality of the situation is this is going to get worse before it gets better, if we don\u2019t see any sort of action,\u201d he said.<\/p>\n<p>Disruptions have also been reported in Charlotte, Chicago, Dallas, Denver, Orlando, Philadelphia and other airports on both coasts.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>A traveler shows the chronometer on their phone running the time they got in line to when they reached the security checkpoint. <span class=\"credit\">REUTERS<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Lawmakers are scrambling to find an emergency stopgap, but many are not hopeful. <\/p>\n<p>\u201cThis is a pox on everybody\u2019s house,\u201d said Senate Majority Leader John Thune.<\/p>\n<p>If airports are forced to close, the smaller ones will go first.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe make these determinations on an airport-by-airport basis,\u201d said Stahl. <\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
