Cameras were out everywhere, and a lucky few even managed to slip inside for a moment. The display itself was deliberately understated, with the Cybercab parked in a single spot rather than moving under its own power, letting the design do the talking.<\/p>\n<p><span id=\"more-238172\"\/><br \/><iframe title=\"Tesla Cybercab First Look! Doors on both sides swung upward and out of the way, opening up a wide and welcoming entry point with no handles to fumble with. Side mirrors are nowhere to be found, replaced by a clean full width light bar stretching across the rear. Two seats at the front, with a sleek layout and enough space between them to walk about. A large touchscreen mounted in the center, slanted so that both riders could access it. Black upholstery on the seats and sides, a flat floor carpet, and even pull-down armrests, as well as some small storage areas near the doors. Earlier Cybercab test vehicles, which were seen on Austin roads a while ago, had temporary wheels and pedals for safety drivers because they were still in development, but not this prototype. It\u2019s all gone, and motorcyclists now have full access to the entire interior. If you look closely, you can see an emergency button on the roof, but that is all there is. All outside awareness is handled by cameras rather than mirrors, as is standard practice for Tesla.<\/p>\n<p>Tesla kept the Cybercab parked throughout the event. Staff would come and tow it to a new location, occasionally placing it in a display box with the words \u201cFuture is Autonomous\u201d written on the side. The Cybertruck conducted the majority of the towing effort.
