I\u2019d hate to come later and miss my flight because I\u2019m stuck in the line,\u201d Backer said.<\/p>\n<p>Jade Primicias arrived at to LaGuardia at 10 a.m. for her 2:20 p.m. flight to Denver. Her dance company starts a North America tour Saturday, and she was told by her bosses to be there as early as possible because of potential issues.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Travelers are showing up five hours before their flights.  <span class=\"credit\">Brigitte Stelzer<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cIt did feel a little bit excessive getting here this early, but, you know, we had seen the report that the lines could take up to four hours, but it\u2019s better to be safe than sorry,\u201d said the 32-year-old.<\/p>\n<p>A Manhattan woman named Melissa who was headed to Spain from Kennedy Airport in Queens on Thursday told The Post she arrived for her flight 4.5 hours early, or up to two hours earlier than usual.<\/p>\n<p>Asked if she had a message for the government, she replied, \u201cYeah, you can\u2019t print it, and they\u2019d come after me.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Travelers have faced viral-worthy long lines at airports nationwide as Democrats continue its refusal to fund certain agencies within DHS over their fight to get immigration reforms.<\/p>\n<p>TSA agents have lost out on paychecks and are calling out sick or quitting the job completely thanks to the impasse, fueling the travel nightmare.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
