The project integrates renewable energy into one of South America\u2019s most remote and infrastructure-limited environments. The award, in the categories of Innovation and Leadership, recognizes measured performance in execution and planning, based on a framework designed to compare outcomes across industries.<\/p>\n<p class=\"wp-block-paragraph\">The recognition centers on an off-grid renewable energy system that supplies nearly half of the mine\u2019s operational energy needs.
