after choking in school Wednesday morning in what might have been connected to a social media trend, according to officials and a report.<\/p>\n<p>A sixth grade boy suffered the medical emergency and became unresponsive inside Justice Sonia Sotomayor Community School around 11:40 a.m., according to Yonkers school officials.<\/p>\n<p>First responders attempted to revive the 12-year-old, but he was wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>The student might have been eating a donut, the outlet reported, citing authorities.<\/p>\n<p>A message to Yonkers police was not immediately returned.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cToday\u2019s tragic loss is heartbreaking,\u201d Mayor Mike Spano said in a statement.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe death of a child is every parent\u2019s worst nightmare, and our
