The finished machine measures roughly 219 by 221 by 262 millimeters. Its build volume reaches 120 millimeters on each side. The horizontal axes are directly mounted to the side panels, eliminating the need for internal frames or elaborate aluminum elements to hold them. And that\u2019s the point: keep things simple and inexpensive while maintaining the stiffness required for quick, accurate movement. That is, you can simply upgrade or repair one part of the system without disassembling the whole thing, and when new ideas and better components arise, this flexibility becomes increasingly vital. It employs MGN9C linear rails and a CoreXY belt system to move the gantry horizontally. The two drive motors are smooth and reliable, so there is little to worry about in terms of weight and acceleration.
