A week later, she\u2019s like, \u2018It hurts again.\u2019 We thought she had cancer or a brain tumor.\u201d<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>When the girl eventually told her parents about what was causing the infections, her distressed parents brought their concerns to the school in November.<\/p>\n<p>The next month, their daughter was expelled, and the family was hit with a countersuit in May.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The complaint, filed in March, claimed the alleged abuse by another student left the young victim with recurring urinary tract infections, grueling headaches and stomach aches, and unwilling to attend school. <span class=\"credit\">AP<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The ritzy school accused the girl\u2019s parents of weaponizing \u201cfalse and misleading\u201d claims, wildly arguing that any sexual contact between the students was \u201conly accidental\u201d and that the accused child \u201clacks the developmental capacity to sexually molest.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The school further claimed the victim\u2019s parents were guilty of neglect, stressing they failed to teach her proper hygiene and bathroom habits, which caused the child\u2019s persistent urinary tract infections, according to the suit.<\/p>\n<p>The private school also said the allegations tarnished its reputation and subjected it to public humiliation.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>According to the parents\u2019 complaint, their daughter\u2019s abuse took place behind in a pirate ship structure.<\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The youngster\u2019s devastated parents blasted teachers and staff in their suit for allegedly being \u201ctoo busy on their phones\u201d to properly watch their students.
