exclusive strip clubs is intensifying, as allegations of drugs, racism and death threats have emerged in the latest lawsuit pinning the two industry bosses against each other.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Last week, The California Post reported on a lawsuit that read like an episode of HBO\u2019s \u201cEuphoria\u201d \u2014 alleging Craig Franze, owner of the infamous Body Shop strip club on Sunset Boulevard, engaged in a \u201cfraudulent bait-and-switch\u201d scheme to seize control of two rival clubs \u2014 4Play and Plan B \u2014 out from under his former \u201cbest friend\u201d Mike Galam.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Craig Franze, owner of the famous LA strip club called The Body Shop, is suing his former friend and business partner Mike Galam.  <span class=\"credit\">Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>At the center of the two strip club bosses dispute is the ownership of Plan B.  <span class=\"credit\">Google Maps<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Now, Franze is pushing back, filing a counter suit on Tuesday that alleges a shady business history with Galam, and claims he agreed to purchase only 30% equity interest in both clubs in exchange for a capital investment of $2.5 million.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Throughout the duo\u2019s business adventures, which began back in early 2014 and came to a screeching halt in 2025, Galam embezzled club funds, abused drugs, skirted liquor laws, and made death threats against Franze, according to the lawsuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Galam alleges Franze took part in a \u201cbait-and-switch\u201d scheme to take full ownership of two gentlemen\u2019s clubs called 4Play and Plan B.  <span class=\"credit\">Linkedin<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The lawsuit claims the former friends first went into business together around early 2014, when Galam purchased four nightclubs for Franze to co-own and manage in Florida, but the pair quickly had a falling out.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>They rekindled their relationship during COVID, when Galam asked Franze to help manage the Bare Elegance strip club in Los Angeles, but again, Franze walked away when Galam failed to meet his financial obligations, according to the lawsuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>But Galam, who filed a lawsuit against his former business partner last week, claimed Franze was \u201csystematically embezzling\u201d funds while he was the manager at Bare Elegance estimated to be over $1 million to finance his lavish lifestyle.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>However, the two friends seemingly hashed out their differences in 2023.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Franze, who planned on purchasing the Body Shop, accepted a $1.2 million investment from Galam to help solidify the deal \u201cas a show of good faith\u201d and to repay the debt he was owed, the lawsuit stated.\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Franze claims Galam was a heavy drug user, failed to meet his financial obligations, reached another agreement that would guarantee Franze and his business partner Archie Donovan a weekly salary of $2,500 as long as Bare Elegance was in operation in exchange for Galam to have the rights to invest in 4Play and Plan B, according to the lawsuit.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The agreement to transfer minority ownership of the two clubs ultimately failed, when Galam allegedly couldn\u2019t come up with the promised $2.5 million investment to Franze and Donovan.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>The lawsuit later acknowledged Galam did deliver the full amount, but never fulfilled the obligations of the $2,500 weekly salary causing the pair to pull out of the deal, the lawsuit states.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cIn light of this conduct, it became clear that Galam was on an uncontrolled and increasingly destructive path,\u201d according to the lawsuit. \u201cPlaintiffs had no choice but to try and separate from him.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Galam filed a lawsuit last week seeking full ownership of 4Play and Plan B from Franze.  <span class=\"credit\">Linkedin<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>The lawsuit goes on to detail allegations of sexual abuse, heavy drug use and racism. \u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHis conduct included racial harassment of employees, the sale of drugs within the venues, sexually abusing employees, efforts to interfere with Plaintiffs\u2019 employment relationships, and attempts to obtain confidential business information through improper means,\u201d the lawsuit states.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>Franze also alleges Galam has made multiple threats against his life, forcing his family to relocate to a gated community and hire private security.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEvery occasion on which Franze has encountered Galam in a public setting, Galam has been carrying the bag in which the firearm is concealed,\u201d the lawsuit states. \u201cIn the context of Galam\u2019s ongoing campaign of threats and escalating conduct against Franze, this practice constituted a direct and credible threat that substantially and reasonably amplified Franze\u2019s fear for his life and the lives of his family members.\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Franze alleges Galam was only promised 30% ownership stake in the two clubs.  <span class=\"credit\">Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Galam said the allegations \u201cshow their extreme desperation,\u201d telling The Post \u201cI had a chuckle when I read it, to be honest.\u201d <\/p>\n<p>\u201cHe\u2019s always responded to his problems by ignoring, fabricating ,distracting and deflecting, gaslighting, blaming other others,\u201d he said in a statement to The Post. \u201cThat\u2019s what I saw in his counter-complaint \u2013 trying to get everyone to \u2018look at this, not that.&#8217;\u201d <\/p>\n<p>Galam claims he has \u201cmountains of evidence\u201d against Franze that validate his case, telling The Post that \u201csoon the truth will come out in court.\u201d<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!--
