He was hospitalized and put under custody, Pleasant Hill Police Department said.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>A bolt-action Winchester .243 caliber rifle was found next to Prince\u2019s body.\u00a0<\/p>\n<aside class=\"single__inline-module aligncenter wp-block-nypost-editor-primary-tag\">\n<\/aside>\n<p>Strasburg mom Coon, who was affectionately known as \u201cGrammy\u201d by her two grandchildren, was killed after beating cancer, according to her next-door neighbor Richard Dale.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe fought cancer for about a year,\u201d he told the Kansas City Star.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cShe beat it. She was cancer free for about a year. About three or four months ago, it came back. She was going to treatment again.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI talked to her off and on. She said, \u2018It\u2019s going fine. It\u2019s going fine.\u2019 She was prepared to beat it a second time.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>A family obituary didn\u2019t specify the type of cancer Coon battled \u2013 but acknowledged she underwent treatment.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Coon battled cancer before her death, neighbors said.  <span class=\"credit\">Amy Coon \/ Facebook<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>\u201cAmy was the mother hen to everyone in her life. She cared deeply for her loved ones,\u201d her family said<\/p>\n<p>\u201cEven through her years of cancer treatment, she showed up for her family and was the absolute best Grammy.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cHer love for older and simpler things in life allowed her to enjoy her crafts, home d.i.y. projects, and her garden.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Family friend Courtney Thomas said Coon\u2019s death was \u201ccompletely unexpected and she will be missed by so many.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>The motive behind the attack is still being probed \u2013 but it has since emerged Prince was out on bond at the time of the shooting, KCTV reported.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe\u2019re still determining [if there] is there any connection? What\u2019s the causation? And we\u2019ll continue to investigate that,\u201d Pleasant Hill Police Chief Tommy Wright said last Tuesday.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>She was allegedly killed by Allen Prince, 27. <span class=\"credit\">Cass County Sheriff&#8217;s department<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prince had previously threatened to kill his family, according to court documents obtained by the outlet.<\/p>\n<p>On Sept. 29 last year, Cass County cops were called to a home and Prince allegedly told one of his relatives he was going to \u201cblow [her] head off.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>He was arrested and reportedly told cops he had a shotgun in his closet. Investigators discovered shells inside his home, according to the documents.<\/p>\n<p>Prince was ordered not to possess any firearms before being released on bond.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Cops sealed off the supermarket parking lot following the shooting.  <span class=\"credit\">KCTV<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Prince allegedly fired at Coon while she was near her car and she fell to the ground before shooting at the boy.<\/p>\n<p>Two men held Prince at gunpoint before he shot himself in the head.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI appreciate people like that being in our community,\u201d Wright said, hailing the two men, as reported by KSHB.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cWe think people should protect each other; this is a community that truly exists for each other, and these two men stepped forward to exist to prevent further violence,\u201d the cop added.<\/p>\n<p>Cops found three spent ammunition cases next to Prince\u2019s body and there was a spent casing inside the rifle\u2019s chamber.<\/p>\n<p>Prince had another 20 rounds of ammunition on himself, according to cops.<\/p>\n<p>He also tried to shoot another man, but missed, a witness told the Kansas City Star.<\/p>\n<\/p><\/div>\n<p><!-- \u603b\u5bb9\u5668\uff1a\u6700\u5927\u5bbd908px Grid\u7d27\u51d1\u5e03\u5c40 -->\r\n<div style=\"display: grid;
