Investigators allege members of the Gonzalez family sought photographs or videos of the singer\u00a0smoking or drinking\u00a0that could potentially be used against him in custody proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Using information provided by Cordrey, a federal agent later allegedly posed as a\u00a0hitman and participated\u00a0in a phone call with Francisco, during which investigators claim payments and the intended target were discussed.<\/p>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>Gabbie\u2019s father Francisco Gonzalez was also arrested in connection to the plot. <span class=\"credit\">Jam Press<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<figure class=\"nyp-slideshow-modal-image wp-block-image aligncenter size-large\"><figcaption>The former Why Don\u2019t We singer is pictured with the group in 2022. <span class=\"credit\">John Salangsang\/Shutterstock<\/span><\/figcaption><\/figure>\n<p>Court filings submitted Tuesday in Los Angeles Superior Court show Avery requested a domestic violence restraining order against Gabbie and asked the court to grant him \u201csole legal and sole physical custody\u201d of Lavender while also requesting that Gabbie have no visitation pending further proceedings.<\/p>\n<p>Avery alleged in the filing that Gabbie\u2019s arrest, along with what he described as ongoing harassment and safety concerns, prompted the emergency request.\u00a0<\/p>\n<p>\u201cThe acts of abuse described in the attached declaration have taken place in front of the minor child. Gabriela attempted to kill me by hiring a hit man.
